Hilton Garden Inn Frisco

Rooms and location were good. Nothing over the top but the rooms were nice for the price with the exception of a musty odor in the bedroom. We had a bad encounter with a manager here named Selene or Suleen who was rude to my boys and had a bad attitude in front of other paying customers when we asked questions about changing rooms due to the smell. Surprise- we look up her name and here comes all this news about her physically attacking somebody. Shocking a company like this would keep this person employed! This is a nice hotel but please do something about the staff.

Don’t book at this hotel. I called to make a reservation and when I got there the lady at the desk wanted to charge me first for the rooms. I asked her why and she said they charge you for the rooms first. I told her I wasn’t going to pay until I see how the rooms look first. She showed me a room on the 1st floor and as I imagined the rooms were outdated, dark and gloomy. I asked her what other rooms do they have available. She responded by saying “we have a lot of rooms”. I said to myself I’m sure you do, who in their right mind would get a room here. This is the same hotel I went to before and there was blood on the wall and I ended up canceling the reservation. Anyways, I told her I was no longer interested. She got an attitude and said they usually would charge me a fee for canceling but she was going to let me get a pass. Very poor, nasty attitude. Why do they hire these people that aren’t people oriented. My goodness, do better Hilton. I will never go back, and I’d make sure anybody who’s traveling knows.

I’ve been waiting for 50 minutes in the car with my six-month old baby, because it’s taking forever for my husband to check in. Then, they just told us there are no cribs available even though I added a special request to have one when I reserved. We also called to confirm they were available. Well… thanks a lot Hilton. Not taking my family here ever again. 👎🏼
